Barry Ellis has lived in Humboldt, Iowa since December 2007, and became a member of the Humboldt Rifle Pistol Club in 2009. Barry is very much a supporter of the Second Amendment Rights, he believes it is the "Responsibility of The Law Abiding Citizen to Protect it". This is why Barry joined the NRA and now is a member of the Iowa Gun Owners Association.

Barry lived in the Los Angeles area and worked in the Security Industry for over 23 years, working the Street's of Los Angeles and for our Nation's Interest at EAFB. Barry has worn many different brands of Uniforms and handled different types of Firearms and equipment over his tenure. He also understands first hand what its like to replace uniforms, switching to different types of firearms, and wearing different Duty Gear Equipment, often to keep up with the changes in work environment, and preference of equipment plus it's cost.

Barry has also over the years worked closely with Police, Sheriff, EMS, and Fire and understands the importance of the quality of their equipment is of the highest priority to better serve the public and their SAFETY. Listening to you the Men & Women who Sacrifice themselves for the Community they work in, he decided to give something back to them.  

So, when Barry moved here to Iowa, he began to research to determine what was needed to open his gun shop. Then, in March of 2010 the process started and on January 15, 2011, he opened his doors to serve everyone and the Law Enforcement personnel. Barry's commitment is to provide the very best customer service with quality products at reaonable prices.
